Vision Goal & Focus
Our goal and focus is to exploit producing oil & gas fields in Russia and abroad ensuring a maximum effective and integrated recovery of hydrocarbon resources. In order to realize this Mission, PJSC Saratov oil Refinery has the following competitive advantages ehich endeavour wide experience in developing complex reservoirs, primarily, fractured basement reservoirs, hydrophobic fractured carbonate reservoirs, terrigenous thin block structures successful experience of cost-effective operations in small fields with out-of-balance development systems; knowledge of the work’s specifics in various regions of the world. Extensive experience in the international oil & gas projects’ implementation, stable longstanding ties with the leading oil companies of Russia and the world, holding within its structure of scientific-research and design organizations as
Saratov refining association with re refining volume in 2014 of 1.5 million tons. In Germany Rosneft holds shares in four refineries with the capacity of 11.5 million tons (in terms of the Company share). The Company also manufactures petrochemical products in Russia at Angarsk polymer plant, which specializes in production of ethylene, propylene and polyethylene. The capacity of thermal decomposition unit – the main processing plant of the enterprise – makes up 300 thousand tons of ethylene per year. In March, 2015, the Company acquired the petrochemical holding SANORS (Novokuibyshevsk Petrochemical Company). NPC is a major producer of gas processing, petrochemistry and organic synthesis products in the territory of Russia and Eastern Europe. Rosneft is actively developing the production of oils. The basic production sites are Novokuibyshevsk Oils and Additives Plant, oils production facility in Angarsk Petrochemical Company, MoscowPlant Nefteprodukt and oil plant OOO RN-Lubricants, Ryazan, and the refinery of OAO Slavneft-YANOS (ownership interest). The summary capacity of these enterprises exceeds 700 thousand tons per year in commodities, specifically, it makes up over 500 thousand tons of oils per year.
PJSC Saratov oil Refinery is one of the integrated oil producing enterprise in Russia. On technology the refinery is oriented onto processing of most of Russia oil. In years back PJSC “Saratov Refinery” entered into the world of Legal Entities that it is definitely determined the strategic direction of the refinery development. The key target of JSC Saratov oil Refinery is an output of exportable products in required volume for meeting needs of the country and in appropriate quality for compliance of world market requirements. The basis for achievement of this objective is creating of up-to-date production facilities as the result of revamping, upgrading and retooling of existing production. Presently the favorable opportunities have showned for development in PJSC Saratov oil Refinery. There is the large area of vacant industrial, political will for the refinery development, financial scheme of investing. at the minimum wages, it has been started a revamping. Upgrading of the refinery will bring the following achievements:ncrease of processing capacity up to 16.9 mln. tons of crude oil per year; In Quality improvement of output products up to its conformity with Russian GOST-R Standards. Energy-efficient and environmentally friendly technologies are applied in the framework of upgrading. As it is well known, environmental safety of operating procedures is based on introduction of new technologies, enhancement of process control automation, application of up-to-date facilities of equipment and pipeline diagnostics, sustainable use of natural resources and efficiency analysis of nature conservation measures. All of this is foreseen in the process of implementation of the revamping and upgrading project in the refinery interest and its business outfits.
In 2014, the Company’s refineries processed 99.8 million tons of oil, with domestic refining volumes accounting for almost one-third of the country’s total refining output.
Apart from large refineries comprising part of Rosneft, the Company holds shares in several mini-refineries in the territory of the Russian Federation, where in 2014 the refinery volume reached 1.9 million tons. The largest mini-refinery is Nizhnevartovsk refining association, where the processing volume totaled 1.5 million tons in 2014. In Germany Rosneft holds shares in four refineries with the capacity of 11.5 million tons (in terms of the Company share).
